To any ordained minister of the gospel, Judge of the Circuit and County Courts or Justice
of the peace for said county. You are hereby authorized to celebrate the rites of matrimony between
Larkin L. Berrey and Sarah Ann Hogans and this shall be your sufficent authority for so doing.
Given under my hand this 14th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand, eight hundred and
forty and of American Independece the sixty-fifth year.
